The Anti-Litter Bugs
A force to be reckoned with, committed and keen, keeping our planet tidy and clean.
63% of UK litter is made up of plastic, most commonly drinks bottles and packaging.
Over time this litter degrades turning into micro-plastics that end up in our water and food sources.
Consuming micro plastics make us sick by causing damage to human cells and are linked to serious illnesses, breathing difficulties and allergic reactions.
So what can we do?
Making the change
Our Planet Needs You is partnering with Kids Against Plastic to bring you the Anti-Litter Bugs!
Local school children have teamed up to tackle pesky litter—helping to make our streets cleaner and greener, and removing harmful micro plastics from our environment.
All litter collected and logged by the Anti-Litter Bugs will contribute towards Ali's 1 Million Pick Up campaign.
Launched October 2024 in partnership with Wormholt Park Primary School, Ark Conway Primary School and Greenside Primary School.
