Will you join us and help lead the change?
We're bringing together schools and funding partners to reach thousands of young Londoners through measurable, school-led climate action in local communities.
Together we'll help schools:
Save money by reducing energy use and waste
Lower their carbon footprint
Create greener, more biodiverse school environments
Inspire students, families and local communities to take collective action
Connect with volunteers from local businesses
Equip young people with the skills and confidence for future green careers
Schools receive:
A fully guided climate action programme
Cost saving and fundraising support
Impact reporting aligned to Climate Action Plans
How OPNY is funded
We believe every school should be able to participate regardless of budget. That's why we work with councils and local organisations to sponsor schools through their climate, education and social value programmes.
Schools register their interest first, and we work with local partners to secure funding wherever possible.
Funding partners receive:
TOMs-compliant social value reporting
Measurable environmental and community impact
Meaningful opportunities to engage employees and local communities

Questions, ideas…?
Our Planet needs you
It all starts with a story…
Learn about our planet’s struggle with pollution and climate change, and what we can do to make a difference.
Our Planet Needs You transforms schools into hubs for climate action.
Through live monthly assemblies, practical challenges, and a competition leaderboard, the programme engages thousands of students in low-carbon lifestyles, reducing waste and emissions in local communities, while helping school leaders reduce utility costs and decarbonise their estates by 2030.
Our Youth Lead and Social Value Volunteer Programme empowers secondary students and local employees to support programme delivery in schools, building leadership and communication skills while creating a self-sustaining model that embeds sustainability into everyday life.
Every person plays their part.
Every action counts.
Lead the change,
Be the change.
Thanks to support from Hammersmith & Fulham's Climate Action Team, our first local authority partner…
We successfully delivered a 10-school pilot across Hammersmith & Fulham, engaging more than 2,000 students and saving over 400 tonnes of carbon emissions in collaboration with local schools and community organisations.
Our goal is to work with more local authorities and social value partners to scale the programme across UK schools, making Climate Action, Collective Action.
Communities, councils and businesses all have a role to play in creating a cleaner, greener future.
Will you join us and help lead the change in your local area?
None of us is as powerful as all of us.
