As part of the Rise Up 2025 campaign, Our Planet Needs You partnered with Notpla—the creators of disappearing seaweed-based packaging—to call on supermarkets to take the first step toward a plastic-free future.
In a powerful video letter, students from West London urge supermarket leaders to trial Notpla’s plastic-free packaging for just one month.
“We know plastic is a problem,” says one student.
“But we also know better alternatives exist.”
“None of us is as powerful as all of us,” adds another.
Their message is clear: small steps lead to big change. The call is now with the supermarkets—will they rise up and lead the way?
